Accident Or Assassination

- the mysterious death of King Rufus

On a summer’s day in 1100 the body of King William II was discovered by a local charcoal burner in the New Forest.  Tradition suggests that the king was accidentally killed by Sir Walter Tyrell, but recent evidence indicates that it may have been a deliberate action.
